The Role of Teacher with Us

The role of a teacher at the high school in Kungsbacka Municipality is characterized by a culture of sharing where we collectively take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other.

Your responsibilities include teaching students in hotel and tourism courses in the hotel and tourism program, managing APL, and the college platform Visita. You will belong to a program working group and act as a mentor for a group of students.

Your Profile

The right person for this job thrives in an environment with constantly changing circumstances, sees opportunities in changes, and is genuinely interested in creating, maintaining, and nurturing good relationships with both colleagues and students as well as guardians. You are knowledgeable in your subjects and have a good ability to communicate with and lead young people. Together with your colleagues, you plan and organize your work effectively. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. We place great importance on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a qualified high school teacher and has the authority to teach hotel and tourism subjects

It is advantageous:

• if you have experience teaching hotel and tourism subjects at the high school level

At Elof Lindälvs Gymnasium, we have about 200 employees and nearly 1,500 students. The school is divided into seven units, and we offer both vocational and academic preparatory programs. The hotel and tourism program belongs to unit 4, which consists of nearly 30 employees and about 200 students.
